Welcome to Ras Al Khaimah’s New Year’s Eve 2026 celebration! This guide provides all the essential information to help you navigate the festivities, find parking, and enjoy the celebrations responsibly across the Al Hamra area and Al Marjan Island as we usher in the New Year safely and in style.

RAK NYE is Back!
A larger-than-life display will light up the night skies across the waterfront between Al Marjan Island and Al Hamra Village in a spectacular farewell to 2025.
The Ras Al Khaimah New Year’s Eve fireworks show will feature a jaw-dropping fusion of vibrant colours, dazzling lights, and cutting-edge laser drone technology, ringing in 2026 like never before.
Additionally, there will be a fireworks display in the city centre, opposite Julphar Towers, on 31 December at 8 PM. The city centre fireworks can be viewed from Manar Mall and the Ras Al Khaimah Corniche area

Access to Al Marjan Island
Access to Al Marjan Island is restricted to registered vehicles only. All cars entering after 2 PM on December 31st must have a valid registration pass. Visitors staying at hotels or dining at restaurants on the island will receive a registration link from their respective venues to complete the process.

Parking Information for RAKNYE
A limited number of designated Ras Al Khaimah New Year parking spaces will be available.
Please note that all roads will be closed from 11:00pm onwards on 31 December, 2025.

Services Available in Parking Lots
All parking lots are equipped with essential public services. Jais and Yanas lots also feature mobile stores and restaurant kiosks for added convenience.
Parking Guidelines and Etiquette

Follow the directions and guidelines provided by police and logistical support personnel.
Vehicle Usage
Do not leave your vehicle running for extended periods and ensure adequate ventilation if you remain inside.
Respect Public Decorum
Uphold public morals, avoid disturbing others, and respect local customs and traditions.
Stay Within Boundaries
Park within designated areas and avoid walking towards the beach.
Maintain Cleanliness
Dispose of waste in designated bins to keep the area clean.
Prohibited Activities
Barbecuing, open fires, flashlights, loudspeakers, fireworks, bicycles, e-bikes, and skateboards are not allowed in parking areas.
Children’s Safety
Parents are responsible for supervising children at all times in parking areas.
Prepare for Comfort
Ensure you have enough fuel for your stay and ventilate the vehicle if you’re inside for a prolonged period.
Traffic and Safety Compliance
Non-compliance with traffic rules will be monitored through digital systems, cameras (Safe City System), or by traffic personnel.
