Who needs to register? Everyone
There are three ways to register, depending on how you’re spending the night. Whichever you choose, every guest needs a registration, including children.
Festival guest
Coming to the festival? Register yourself and everyone in your group. Driving? Add your car, then park free at Exit 122 and take the free shuttle.
Hotel guest
Staying, dining or both at a hotel on Al Marjan Island? Register as a hotel guest and upload your booking confirmation for access to the island.
Al Marjan Island resident / guest
Live on Al Marjan Island, or visiting someone who does? Register your household and guests for access to the island and use your two digital car passes.
Last year, only cars were required to register. This year, every guest registers, including children.

Have these ready, and registration is quick and easy.
- The full names of everyone coming, including children
- A mobile number
- An email address
- Your plate number and emirate, if you are driving
- Your booking confirmation, if you are a hotel guest
- Your apartment number, if you are an Al Marjan Island resident

- Your group. Add up to four more people, including children. You can add up to five people in total.
- Your car. Driving? Add your plate number and emirate (one car per registration). Coming by taxi or on foot? Skip this step.
- Confirm. Check your details, agree to the terms and submit.

Hotel guest
For guests staying or dining at a hotel on Al Marjan Island.

What happens next
Your QR code arrives by email. Save it on your phone. There’s no need to print it, and no ID is needed at entry.
Need to change something? Log in to your registration to update your details or your car.
Group growing? One registration covers five people and one car. For more people, or a second car, simply complete another registration.
Can’t come? Registrations can’t be transferred to another person.
Residents and guests questions
Yes. On 31 December, access to Al Marjan Island is by registration only.

Registration helps us plan roads, parking and entry, so everyone’s journey is smooth. Your data is handled securely.
The main resident registers everyone in the household, plus every guest staying or visiting. Each apartment receives two digital car passes, each for one-time entry. Use them for your own cars or your guests’ cars.

Hosts must make sure their guests register with the apartment number. Each apartment number can be registered only once.
Yes. Roads close from 7 PM, so plan to arrive before then.
Yes, with a valid registration pass. Road access is monitored from 8 AM. Every car entering after 2 PM needs a valid registration pass. Roads close from 7 PM, so plan your travel around them.
Yes. Deliveries will run as normal, but we recommend ordering before 7 PM, when roads close.
Call 998 for an ambulance. Ambulances will be stationed on Al Marjan Island.

Registration questions
Yes. Every child needs to be added to an adult’s registration, including babies. This year, registration is for people, not cars, so everyone in your group counts.
One registration covers you plus up to four others, and one car. For a bigger group, or if you’re travelling in two cars, simply complete another registration.
Yes. Log in to your registration to update your details, your group or your car. Registrations can’t be transferred to another person.
